Tools to Manage Anxiety & Social Anxiety

General Anxiety

Do you notice frequent nerves for no apparent reason? You might get so worked up sometimes you just want to crawl out of your skin. Your mind races both forward and backward in time, continuously telling yourself you should’ve done something different or will do something wrong.

It’s exhausting to live in your head. You’ve probably been told to take a chill pill on more than one occasion.

That’s not cool.

Social Anxiety

I wonder if you find yourself feeling alone, even in a room full of people. You have difficulty knowing how to strike up a conversation with others and even when you do, you assume it’ll likely go poorly. Your palms are clammy; maybe your breath short and heartbeat thumping. You give yourself a hard time for leaving the house.

You should’ve stayed home.

Your mind insists that those around you must be thinking negatively about you, almost as if you’ve been cast into a spotlight that you didn’t audition for.

You are not alone

Whether it is general anxiety or social anxiety, you’re not alone. There are A TON of people who struggle with those very symptoms; it might even be the person sitting next to you. This is especially common in an age where we put pressure on ourselves to do more, go faster, try harder, and we spend more time behind a screen than face to face with other humans.

The thing is, you don’t have to continue living like this. I can help.

How I help

Hi, I’m Abby. If you’re generally anxious, I can help you understand the origin of anxiety and why we need it to function effectively. Using this as our foundation, we can help you develop strategies to better manage anxiety so it doesn’t take over your life.

If you struggle with social anxiety, I teach you how and why our brains develop the critical self-talk that keeps you from relating with others. You’ll learn tools to help rethink the way you approach social interactions so you can engage in the things that matter to you.

Wouldn’t you want that?!
